Greenwich Welcomes
MULTIMEDIA POSTER SERIES in partnership with GREENWICH CITIZENS UK
Project Founder • Project Manager • Projection Mapping • Poster Design • Print & Digital Design
In 2015, Greenwich Council made the pledge to resettle 20 Syrian Refugee families within five years. At the time of this project, only 3 families had been housed, as we rapidly approached the 5 year deadline.
Working alongside Greenwich Citizens UK, this project used illustration, animation and projection mapping on a triptych of posters, to be displayed on at the Greenwich Citizens UK Election Assembly, at which Local labour and conservative politicians alike were present and called upon to honour their promise, publicly commiting to the action plan of settling the remaining 17 families by 2020.

“It’s incredibly rewarding to work with people, harvest skills and come together to create change.
Greenwich Welcomes brought an amazing addition of talent and creativity.
A thought provoking and emotional piece that portrayed a complex problem in a way local
communities could comprehend and act on.”
- Paulina Tamborrel, Greenwich Citizens UK
